Victor Yushchenko might dissolve the parliament if they fail to form a government in time.

“Not to question political legitimacy of the election of speaker or prime minister, the best thing to do is to meet the constitutional deadline,” he told reporters Friday, President's presss office reported. “Thus the threat of dissolution will be more evident if the parties that take responsibility fail to compromise in time.”

The President said he was quite worried about negotiations in parliament “because they are approaching the limit stipulated by the constitution for these procedures.”

According to the Constitution of Ukraine, the Head of State can formally dismiss the Verkhovna Rada if it fails to form a new government within sixty days.
