Russia Ambassador to Ukraine Victor Chernomyrdin and
Kyiv mayor Leonid Chernovetsky agreed to build a cultural center of Russia.
The center will occupy the land measuring ten thousand sq m. The building will be financed from Russian budget. Russia needs to get the permission of the Kyiv council on allocation of land for long-term rent; all other papers have already been obtained.
