The first round of the roundtable has just finished,
as President’s press secretary Iryna Gerashchenko told journalists. All participants
consider it constructive. According to Gerashchenko, deputies announced a break
till the evening.
Head of the president’s Secretariat Oleh Rybachuk noted that during the meeting the leaders of the parliamentary factions managed to agree on all 12 demands of Party of Regions. According to him, the deputies took the break to introduce amendments into the documents for signing.
In response to the question whether the second round would become the last one, Rybachuk said, “To my mind it will be the last round, and we have big chances to make the work of the Verkhovna Rada unblocked.”
