Faction of Party of Regions considers that President
of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko as an initiator of the roundtable should head it
and hold the negotiation process with the participation of all political forces
represented in the parliament.
According to PR representative Vasyl Dzharty, it is principal position of the party.
At the same time, OU faction leader Roman Bezsmertny told journalists that he heard of such position for the first time, but considered this variant possible.
In Bezsmertny’s opinion, first of all Party of Regions must clarify its demands and form its position as the latter changes all the time. He noted that Party of Regions laid four points of demands at the beginning, but now their demands number 12 items.
