Our Ukraine, Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko and Socialist Party of Ukraine refused to take part in the roundtable because of absence of the opposition leader Victor Yanukovich.
Member of PR faction Taras Chornovil explained that Party of Regions did not consider the presence of its leader expedient.
“We understand the position of our negotiation partners, but we want the talks to be conducted at the level of representatives and experts’ groups. Leaders should meet after signing of all documents and give a press conference to the press,” Chornovil declared.
Communist party faction declared that it would not participate in the roundtable. According to communists, the matter concerns portfolios, and they do not want to take part in it.
