Speaking on the Interior Ministry’s performance, Victor Yushchenko said prosecutors’ poor performance was another indication of the necessity to reform Ukraine’s law enforcement agencies, President's press office reported.
“I am not satisfied with the work of our prosecutor’s offices,” he said, adding that pre-trial investigations rarely resulted in fair verdicts.
The Head of State said it was vital to profoundly reform the system of law enforcement agencies which often have similar functions and refuse to cooperate.
”It means that law enforcement reforms are really topical,” he opined.
