Socialists Party of Ukraine is ready to take part in
formations both of “orange” coalition and a coalition of large format, press
office of the party informed.
According to resolution of SPU political council, party leader Oleksandr Moroz is charged with signing approved coalition document. The decision about participation in parliamentary coalition will be made by SPU political executive committee as the concrete political situation requires. In particular, the committee will decide SPU participation in the coalition of democratic forces consisting of BYuT, Our Ukraine and SPU, or participation in large-format coalition, or being in opposition.
SPU faction numbers 33 deputies out of 450 parliamentarians in the Verkhovna Rada of the fifth convocation.
