Ukrainian businessman Serhiy Klyuyev intends to consider possibilities of acquisition of Austrian bank BAWAG P.S.K. The bank has been displayed for sale by local federation OeGB, Klyuyev informed.
“We will submit an application on acquisition along with Austrian bank, American or Spanish partners,” said Klyuyev.
Large Austrian banks and insurance companies have announced that they would look closely at BAWAG although the interest had slackened for the last months.
Earlier, Austrian mass media informed that Citigroup and Banco Santander Central Hispano were interested in this bank.
