Our Ukraine Bloc on the latest results of today's negotiations

OU suggests that a candidate for the head of the Interior Ministry of Ukraine must be nominated only after consultations between the parliamentary coalition and the President of Ukraine. However, BYuT is against of this proposal. Commenting on weekend’s negotiations, Tetyana Mokridi announced it to UNIAN.

According to her words, the negotiators still don not agree on the formula of the Interior Minister’s appointment. Our Ukraine Bloc insists on preliminary obligatory consultations with the President regarding this post. “We insist that such procedure of the appointment must be preserved until the Ministry is converted into a civilian one. Yulia Volodymyrivna, in turn, supposes that the offices of the Ministry with 232.000 military men must be distributed in accordance with the quota principle,” said Mokridi.

According to her, the Socialists do not accept a strategic direction of foreign policy of Ukraine, Euro-Atlantic integration. The BYuT leader Yulia Tymoshenko doubts about a vertically integrated oil company. She also does not want precise tasks and precise terms to be fixed in the Cabinet’s program.

As the OU press office informs, the BYuT leader stands for three positions concerning the PM’s activity. First of all, she is against governmental committees. Secondly, she is against accountability before a coalition. Thirdly, she is against creation of the Supreme Coalition Council headed by the Ukrainian President.

Head of the press office of the Our Ukraine bloc Tetyana Mokridi informed that OU BYuT and Socialist Party agreed on formation of National Bureau of Investigation and introduction of posts of state secretaries. Additionally, the parties agreed on time diversity of elections to the VR and to institutions of local governing.
