On June 15 the Minister for Foreign Affairs Borys Tarasyuk took part in the European People’s Party summit held in Brussels.

Borys Tarasyuk addressed to the audience on behalf of the People’s Movement of Ukraine and the Our Ukraine Bloc. Ukraine’s high official reported on the political situation in Ukraine after the parliamentary elections, the OU press service informed.

Participants of the EPP summit showed a keen interest in the formation of the parliamentary majority and the government’s formation in Ukraine.

Borys Tarasyuk has informed the EPP on the current situation with the parliamentary coalition talks.

Participants wished success the People’s Movement of Ukraine and the Our Ukraine part in holding economic and political reforms, a course towards the Euro-Atlantic integration and realisation of Maydan ideals.

 
Borys Tarasyuk held bilateral meetings with the Mario David, Vice President of the EPP; Cyril Svoboda, the Czech Minister of Foreign Affairs; Petar Stoyanov, former President of Bulgaria, other state leaders and heads of government.
