Victor Yushchenko has called the head coach of the national football team to learn how the players feel before today’s match with Spain, President's press office reported.
On behalf of Ukraine and millions of Ukrainian football fans, the President wished our team a successful game.
“Ukraine is proud to see its players taking part in this year’s world championship and we will keep our fingers crossed,” Yushchenko said.
The Head of State plans to watch the match in his office.
