On June 13, Kateryna Yushchenko spoke at an international conference designed to address the critical issues of maternal and newborn mortality and accessto education for girls. The conference washeld under the patronage of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullahof Jordan.
In her speech, Mrs. Yushchenko focused on the health effects of the Chornobyl accident and problems of health care for children in Ukraine, the president press office reported.

They both head charitable organizations and so spoke about their experience.
