"Talks on the formation of a coalition in the framework of the three forces have reached a deadlock – the leader of the Our Ukraine parliamentary faction . Therefore we don’t rule out a possibility to form a coalition with other parties," the OU press office quotes Roman Bezsmertny, the head of the OU Political Council speaking at yesterday press conference.

“A meeting of the political council of the Our Ukraine bloc took place today. The Socialist party members Oleksandr Moroz, Iosif Vinskyi and Vasyl Tsushko and the BYuT members Yulia Tymoshenko, Mykola Tomenko and Oleksandr Turchynov took part in the first part of the meeting. Unfortunately, the sides did keep their demands. The BYuT and the SPU continue to demand to give the post of parliamentary speaker to the SPU representative,” said Bezsmertny.

He reminded that the Our Ukraine bloc had made efforts to take more time for accordance of the protocol of divergences. “But the BYuT and the SPU have left their remarks concerning the following issues: joining NATO, formation of governmental committees, introduction of a post of a state secretary, privatization of strategic enterprises and land sale,” emphasized Bezsmertny.

“As our colleagues do not make a compromise, we have to find other ways to move forwards or stop these talks,” concluded the Head of the Political Council.
