As the political executive committee officials of the movement reported, Khadartsev was directly responsible for mobilization of the movement. The day before the murder, the organization held a protest action against “military incursion” of American ship into Crimea and against NATO military exercises.
On the day of the murder the heads of All-Ukrainian movement were supposed to discuss further strategy and tactics of the action “NATO-stop”.
