Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands has ceremonially received Victor Yushchenko and his wife at Noordeinde Palace in the Hague, one of the four official residences of the Dutch royal family.
They listened to the national anthems and inspected the Honor Guard. Then Mr. Yushchenko introduced members of the Ukrainian delegation to the Queen. She introduced her courtiers to the President.
The Ukrainian leader is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Jan Peter Balkenende after the ceremony.
