Yesterday, on the eve of the VR session Victor Yushchenko first met with Prime Minister Yuriy Yekhanurov, leader of the pro-presidential Our Ukraine Bloc, and Roman Bezsmertny, Head of the OU Political Council, to discuss coalition negotiations, the president press office reported.
Then the Head of State met with Yuriy Yekhanurov, Roman Bezsmertny (Our Ukraine), Yulia Tymoshenko (BYuT), and Oleksandr Moroz (Socialist Party of Ukraine). President Yushchenko said he wanted them to reach a “conceptual agreement of political character.”
The politicians told him there were still about fifteen differences they are trying to bridge to sign a deal as soon as possible.
