On June 6, Journalists Day, Victor Yushchenko said Ukraine was observing this day with the feeling of respect for the remarkable role journalists play in the life of our society, President's press office reported.
“Ukraine would never have become independent without independent journalists,” he opined at today’s press conference at the Ukraiinsky Dim.
