Judging by experts' calculations, Saudi Arabia has been a main purchaser of Ukrainian grain in 2005/2006 season. Ukraine imported over 2.5 million tons of grain over the season's eleven months, the Cabinet press offcie informed.
According to the analytical company UkrAgroConsult, the second biggest importer is Spain, having purchased over one million tons of grain.
During the season Ukraine plans to export some 12.3 million tons of grain, including 5.4 million tons of wheat.
