President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko on behalf of the country has presented condolences to Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono over Saturday’s devastating earthquake on the island of Java.
“In Ukraine, we were sad to learn about the tragedy that happened in the central part of the island of Java, which killed many people dead and caused irreparable material damages,” he wrote.
“On behalf of the people of Ukraine, I would like to present my heart felt condolences and support to families of the victims and the whole Indonesian nation.”
