The public plain duty and guaranteed debt of Ukraine have increased in April by 0.1% or $15 million and made $14.928 milliard, the Finance Ministry press office informs.
By April 30, 2006, the public plain duty and guaranteed external debt of Ukraine were $11/183 milliard (74.9% of the whole public debt), the public plain duty and guaranteed internal debt of Ukraine - $3.747 milliard.
According to the Finance Ministry’s data, the public debt of Ukraine has reduced by 3.5% or $546 million within four months (January-April). By the beginning of May, the public plain duty of Ukraine was $12.069 milliard including the plain foreign debt - $8.323 milliard and the plain internal duty - $3.746 milliard.
The plain foreign duty of Ukraine has reduced by $380.9 million and the internal one – by $54.03 million for four months.
The guaranteed debt of Ukraine has been reduced by $111.3 million and made $2.859 milliard by the beginning of May.
