May 25, Ukraine's Secretariat Chief of Staff Oleh Rybachuk has met with Erich Stather, the State Secretary of Germany's Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.
They discussed prospects of developing bilateral relations between Ukraine and Germany and particularly focused on Ukraine’s post-election economic course.
Rybachuk said Ukraine had“a unique chance to effectively modernize."
“The President is still the only guarantor and leader of reforms and so urges the country’s future government and parliament for cooperation,” he said.
In his turn, Mr. Stather said it wasvital to enhance democratic changes and preserve the positive economic dynamics in Ukraine.
Oleh Rybachuk and Mr. Stather also discussed ways to strengthen Europe’s energy security.
