Vice-Premier Yuri Melnik has departed for Dushanbe (Tajikistan) in order to take part in CIS Summit which will be held on May 25, 2006.

The main attention of the summit participants will be focused on the consideration of the agreement on creation of the intergovernmental fund for CIS humanitarian cooperation. The agenda consists of 22 items for discussion, 15 of them will be presented for the heads of the states to sign without consideration.

In the course of the meeting, the envoys will consider proposed changes to the rules of origin of goods detection, agreement on cooperation within the field of forestry and the formation of the corps for liquidation of emergency situations.
