President of Moldova Vladimir Voronin proposes to name the new international organization formed on the basis of GUAM “the Commonwealth of European choice (CECh) for democracy and economic development.”
Speaking on plenary session of GUAM meeting, which is taking place in Kyiv, Voronin has opined that the name of the new organization opened for new members should not be limited by the abbreviation “GUAM.”
As a reminder, two-day summit GUAM was opened Monday, May 22 in Kyiv. The participants are going to officially register GUAM as an international organization headquartered in Kyiv, sign its statute and a joint declaration
