Minister of Justice Serhiy Holovaty proposes to
substitute home passports for identity card. “It should be a simple identity
card with corresponding data base - no passports, no residence permits,” said
he.
After the meeting with representatives of European business association in Kyiv, the Minister noted that the changes would happen after passing of a corresponding law.
According to Holovaty, Ministry of Justice has worked out such law and submitted to Cabinet of Ministers.
