Kyiv hosts “The Ukrainian Context” Days of International Documentary Fest on Human Rights. This year the directors from 22 countries of the world represent their films at the fest. All works for the contest are dedicated to the cruel and unjust reality.
The festival is a strictly non-profitable event whose overall objective is promotion of an open social dialogue, of respect to human rights and dignity, of rule of law in the Ukraine.
The organizers do not say traditional “enjoy the film” to the audience because the represented works are far from entertainment ones. The Orange Chronicles by Damyan Kolodiy opened the fest.
The fest consists of five-day agenda in Kyiv. Then the fest will launch the tour over all Ukraine’s regions. All regional screenings are free.
