The social organisations will pay reduced fee for the registration procedure, Justice Minister Holovaty told Friday at the first All-Ukrainian Forum of Pro-European Social Organisations held in Kyiv. The Cabinet of Ukraine passed the corresponding resolution last week.
“This step seemed to be a small one. The State Budget will not loose much, only $400,000 less than previously. There was a dispute with the Finance Minister but it had to be done even under hard financial state,” stressed the Minister Holovaty.
The government creates every possibility for development of the free civil society in Ukraine.
According to him, the Justice Ministry intends to suggest the remedial organizations to support the Ministry in claiming to gain control over the penitentiary system of Ukraine.
“I need advices and exactly remedial organisations to help us with these questions because the Justice Ministry is still lacking in experts of these field. We must do our best in order to bring this part of our social reality in conformity with the European standards,” concluded Serhiy Holovaty.
