Victor Yushchenko has arrived in Bulgaria to take part in the 13th Summit of the Central European States.

Ukraine's Secretariat Chief of Staff Oleh Rybachuk, who is accompanying the President, described the Varna summit as an “active and principally important dialogue about Europe’s security and energy policies.” Oleh Rybachuk said it was vital to formulate energy strategy for the region and added that Ukraine had initiated a big energy conference. Polish President Lech Kaczynski has recently agreed to host it in Warsaw, the president press office informed.

The Head of State is going to meet with his colleagues to discuss energy cooperation, visa liberalization and trade issues.
