Luhansk AIDS Prevention Centre reports about 129 new cases of HIV-infection in the region.
According to recent data, 21 children have been registered by the clinic, all them were born by HIV-infected mothers. Twenty patients are diagnosed AIDS, fifteen persons died of AIDS.
Over 2,000 HIV-infected people are registered on the clinic, 126 patients out of them are children.
Since 1992, 3,003 cases of HIV-infection have registered in Luhansk region, 210 cases have been diagnosed AIDS, 152 persons died.
