The opening ceremony of the Centre will be held on May 15, at 2 pm, Family, Youth and Sport Minister Yuri Pavlenko reported Thursday at the press conference.
“It is just one of the ways to combat the homeless children problem. It is a kind of establishment which has to carry out prevention of the orphanage and corresponding work with those mothers who are in the crisis state of their maternity,” said Minister Pavlenko.
He also pointed out that the similar centre in Kherson yields positive results: after the course of seminars and consultations, the young mothers made a decision to keep their babies in family.
