Ukraine Justice Ministry has worked out and submitted to the Cabinet’s Secretariat draft bill “On Implementation of Changes to the Penal and Criminal Codes of Ukraine.”
The document has been arranged with regard to the current state of affairs within the sphere of punishment. It is due to provide for more effective protection of convicts’ rights, humanisation of penal sanctions and the conditions of the sentence execution.
The draft bill has been based upon the Action Plan related to the commitments of Ukraine as a member of the Council of Europe.
