Yushchenko met with Poland President Kaczynski

In Vilnius, Victor Yushchenko met with Polish President Lech Kaczynski, President's press office reported.

They discussed post-election situation in Ukraine and Poland. Yushchenko spoke about coalition talks and said he intended to meet with all the poll winners tomorrow.

Then the leaders discussed energy, regional, and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries and broached the subject of Ukraine’s Euro-Atlantic integration.

Yushchenko invited his counterpart to take part in a GUAM summit in Kyiv. They also spoke about the Ukraine President’s upcoming visit to Poland.
