The Cabinet commissioned the National Energy Management Committee to set the utmost price for natural gas for Ukrainian consumers by July 1, 2006. It may not exceed $82.8 per 1,000 cubic metres.
The Committee was recommended to set the gas price for budget organizations at maximum level of $129.6 per 1,000 cubic metres and for heat-and-power municipal organizations - $137.2.
The Cabinet also charged the Committee with fixing the price which will be economically based by January 1, 2007.
