The government returns money spent for election campaign to those parties, which passed three percent barrier and won seats in the Parliament.

Central Election Committee head Yaroslav Davidovich reported that election campaign of parties-winners cost 126 million 853 thousand hryvnias. Altogether they spent 224 mln 643 ths hryvnias.

According to Law, parties-winners have a right to compensation of spent means in the amount of 100 ths of minimum wages. Hence, the compensation makes 35 mln hryvnias.

According to Davidovich, Party of Regions spent 112 mln UAH, BYuT – 13 mln UAH, Our Ukraine bloc – 74 mln UAH, Socialist Party – 35 mln UAH, Communistic Party – 8 mln UAH.

Parliamentarians consider that unlimited election fund and state compensation prevented candidates from using shady money, UNIAN reported.
