London is willing to provide Kyiv with active help to reach the EU, PM Advisor Mr. Derrek stated at the meeting with President’s Secretariat Chairman Oleh Rybachuk.
In the course of the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects of bilateral relations within the political, economic, and humanitarian and energy spheres, domestic affairs of Ukraine and issues related to the energy safety.
Mr. Derrek highly estimated Ukraine’s achievements in the spheres of the external and internal policy for the last year and stressed that Ukraine’s devotion to the democratic principles is the first characteristic of European country.
Rybachuk, in turns, stressed that Ukraine will keep on fulfilling its commitments in accordance with Ukraine-EU Action Plan and participating in European programs of cooperation, especially, within the energy sphere. “Nowadays, Ukraine is an important unit of European energy safety,” Rybachuk said.
