The fifth rotation of Ukrainian peacekeepers in Liberia

The second group of Ukrainian peacekeepers has arrived in Monrovia, Liberia. It is the fifth rotation of the 56^th Special Helicopter Unit of Ukrainian Armed Forces within UN Mission in the country.

Tu-154 brought 100 Ukrainians to the airdrome of destination. Thereby, 200 Ukrainians have launched their mission there. The same airplane is to return 100 peacekeepers of the fourth rotation back to Ukraine.

As a reminder, the 56^th Special Helicopter Unit of UN Mission has been engaged in the peacekeeping operation in Liberia since 2004. Total number of is 300 peacekeepers. The unit has at its disposal eight Mi-8 and six Mi-24 helicopters.
