On April 26 Victor Yushchenko will take part in ceremonies to mark the twentieth anniversary of the Chornobyl accident, President's press office reported.
The Head of State is going to lay flowers at the Monument of Chornobyl Warriors and the Memorial of Chornobyl Heroes. He also plans to visit the town of Chornobyl and the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant to honor Chornobyl firefighters and rescuers.
The President will then attend a requiem concert “The Bells of
Chornobyl” at the National Opera House.
