Ukrainian delegation headed by Chief of the Military Institute attached to Kyiv Shevchenko’s National University Colonel Victor Balabin has departed for Austria, the Defence Ministry press service reported.
Ukrainian representatives will visit the Language Institute of the Austrian Armed Forces for holding the consultations on compiling of the first Ukrainian-German Military Terms Dictionary. The linguists will discuss the current state of the military language and standardization of the vocabulary regarding Ukraine’s integration in NATO.
The dictionary is scheduled to out by the end of 2006.
