Naftogaz President Oleksiy Ivchenko denies that the company has debt for gas supply in January-February 2006. He revealed it on Wednesday before the journalists at the Cabinet's session.
“No, it doesn’t have any debts. The gas supply has not been suspended. It is a working situation. There is a working scheme of payment for the gas which has been already supplied,” said Ivchenko.
He specified that Naftogaz had completely paid off a debt for February-January gas. However, he added that it should be distinguished the terms - the payment for the gas and debt relationship.
Currently, Naftogaz pays for March gas supply, Ivchenko concluded.
