Head of Gazprom Aleksey Miller declares that gas for
Ukraine will not be cheaper than 230$.
“Level of prices for Russian gas for Ukraine in the amount of 230$ for a thousand cu m is a fact,” said Miller.
Commenting on a possible revision of the agreements with Ukraine, Gazprom head noted that “such short-sighted declarations might be explained by election fight of certain political forces, but in conditions of real economic life it is a way to destabilization of relations.”
Miller is convinced that Ukraine does not want repetition of the situation, when gas supplies for Ukrainian consumers were stopped because of absence of contracts and agreements.
