Our Ukraine bloc calls Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko to refuse
a coalition with Party of Regions in local councils, as reported the press
office of OU bloc Friday.
“We demand of BYuT to reject agreements in local councils with our fundamental political opponents, with Party of Regions in particular, and not to allow such alliances in the future. Any agreements with revenge-seekers contradict principles and ideological essence of the coalition of democratic forces,” says the statement.
As examples, the press office pointed out the decision of BYuT’s representatives in Poltava region to form a coalition with Lytvyn’s bloc and Party of Regions in local council and the support of PR’s candidature on the post of chairman of Avtozavodsk district council.
