April 7, Volyn Court Martial sentenced two citizens of Ukraine to four and a half years of imprisonment. Oleh Hryzhenko, the senior officer of Ukraine’s Army, and his wife Lyudmyla are incriminated in espionage in the interests of Poland.
SBU secret service officials intercepted the floppy with classified information which might cause damages to Ukraine’s defence, SBU spokesperson Halyna Savinskaya told.
The investigation has established that the married couple were recruited by Polish military intelligence and engaged in espionage.
