Speaking at the scientific conference “Ukraine-Russia-Europe,” Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry Borys Tarasyuk revealed his plans to take part in the CIS Foreign Ministers conference which will be held on April 21 in Moscow.

In the course of the visit, Minister Tarasyuk is due to meet Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. Ukrainian diplomat expects to ink wide range of bilateral documents. Ukraine is willing to continue high-level political dialogue concerning the pressing issues of cooperation. Touching upon the current tasks of Ukraine’s foreign policy department, Tarasyuk informed about preparations being held for the meeting of Russian and Ukrainian Presidents.

“We approach to the final stage of the simplified citizenship procedure,” said Tarasyuk.

Both Ukraine and Russia try to build strategic partnership, and the Presidents strike the keynote of policy and mutual relations between two countries. Tarasyuk expressed confidence that “all other players” work for constructive cooperation between Russia and Ukraine as well.
