To say about final position of Russia towards An-70 project will be possible only after the negotiations, Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Vasyl Filipchuk told Thursday at the press conference.
He voiced his personal belief that Russia would approach the project with all responsibility. “The problem should be settled in constructive and friendly way,” stressed Filipchuk. However, he added that Ukraine should rely on its own possibilities anyway.
Foreign Ministry spokesman also informed about coming meeting of GUAM representatives (May 22-23). The parties are due to complete the work on regulations by this time. The heads of the countries-members are expected to take part in the meeting. GUAM is planned to be reformed into the international organization with its own secretariat and general secretary of the organization.
