Crimean Prosecutor’s Office has initiated a criminal case against a citizen of Uzbekistan who engaged in trafficking of her co-citizens to sexual slavery in Turkey via Ukraine’s frontier. All money she got from dirty business was spent on building of her private house, the press office of the Crimean Prosecutor’s Office informs.

Simferopol frontier guard officials detained sex-slaves in Sevastopol port. The girls with faked passports were going to depart for Turkey on board.

The criminal case was instituted in accordance with the article 149, chapter 2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine: human trafficking connected with illegal Ukraine’s frontier crossing for delivery of trafficked people to another person for sexual slavery.

Ukraine’s General Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Crimea carries out the investigation. The Crimean Office of Public Prosecutor is commissioned to control the investigation.
