In Donetsk, during the meeting with deputy governor of the region Gennady Hryshin, Dave Feikert, advisor to General Secretary of European Trade Union Confederation, noted Europe’s interest in development of coal production industry of Ukraine.

They discussed the state of coal industry in the region and further cooperation between coal enterprises of the region and consumers of European countries.

“Our organization is ready to share the experience of European countries on this issue. Europe is interested in development of Ukrainian coal production industry,” pointed out Feikert.

According to him, he is interested “in the whole complex of issues, connected with reformation of coal industry in Donetsk region as in the leading region of Ukraine on coal production.”

In his turn, Hryshin noted that coal-miners are interested in cooperation with foreign specialists. Hryshin confirmed that in the near future a catalogue of investment projects for realization in Donetsk region would be published. The majority of them are closely connected with coal industry.

“Donbass is open for cooperation with investors from all over the world. We are waiting for concrete projects and propositions,” summed up Hryshin.
