The Coalition Memorandum may consist of three regulations: the coalition program, the regulations and the distribution of offices, Roman Bezsmertny the Chairman of NSNU Political Council told at the meeting.
He stressed once and again that the portfolios would be distributed only after final approval of the coalition program. The members of NSNU Political Council agreed that “the participants of coalition must not make any ultimatums to each other, including those which are related to the distribution of the Cabinet’s portfolios.”
He claimed the necessity to launch round-table discussions aimed at creation of the coalition program. It would help to coordinate positions and overcome discrepancies, Bezsmertny noted.
He forecasted possible discrepancies between NSNU and the Socialist Party concerning the Euro integration, NATO and the land legislation.
