During the customs inspection of container arrived from Ukraine, Siangan police detected MiG-29 with the final destination in the USA.
In accordance with the customs rules, the container has been arrested on Sunday because of the lack of the transit permission and the consignment purposes.
The fighter does not have any weapon and even an engine, ITAR-TASS reported referring to the customs officials.
Ukraine’s Defence Ministry stressed it is not connected with MiG-29 detained in Siangan. Different Ukrainian government structures, Ukrspetstekhnika included, engage in the military equipment and weapon export, Defence Ministry noted.
