Yuri Klyuchkovsky, a reporter on this issue, informed that the passed bill provides for possibility of institution of criminal cases against deputies of local councils by Prosecutor General of Ukraine, deputy Prosecutor General, Crimean Prosecutor and Prosecutors of Kyiv and Sevastopol.
A decision about detaining, arrest or written undertaking not to leave a place can be made by court orders only. A court, which chooses such preventive punishment, is obliged to inform a corresponding council.
