The Party of Regions, representing the opposition at the ongoing parliamentary elections in Ukraine, highlighted a huge number of voting violations Sunday, RIA Novosty reported.
"We established a great deal of violations at polling stations, particularly discrepancies in electoral lists, said the press secretary of party leader Viktor Yanukovich. However, he continued, it is early to speak of mass rigging.
The Ukrainian voters' committee, an independent body monitoring the elections, earlier said it had received dozens of violation reports from various regions of the country, where it said instances of damaging ballot-boxes, voting outside booths and even exerting pressure on electors had been registered.
