Today Brussels hosts the second round of the high level Ukraine-NATO consultations within the Intensive Dialogue on coming membership of Ukraine, the Ukraine’s Defence Ministry press office informed.

Ukrainian delegation headed by the First Deputy Foreign Minister Anton Buteiko, consists of the representatives of the Foreign, Justice, Security departments, the TV and Radio Committee, the National Centre on Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine and the NSDCU.

The consultations will be likely centred on profound partnership between Ukraine and NATO which is aimed at provision of European and international security regarding the interests of all countries in the region, the further development of Ukraine-NATO relationship.

The main attention is to be paid to the pressing questions of domestic and international policy of Ukraine, NATO cooperation within the law sphere and formation of the defensive and security sectors of the country.

As a reminder, the first round of the consultations was held in Brussels on September 26, 2005.
